Gemstone Symbolism
Peridot, the August birthstone, symbolizes strength, protection, prosperity, and growth. Known for encouraging clarity and harmony, it helps release negativity and foster inner peace. In ancient cultures, Peridot was treasured as protection against nightmares and evil spirits; today, it is valued for building self-esteem, nurturing relationships, and attracting good fortune.
